Complétion explores the consequences of artificial intelligence on the status of the photographic image. The project aims to select documents from a huge image archive that represents all aspects of human civilization and the earth, and carry out certain technological operations on this cache. This includes programming software to mimic the effects of deterioration in order to make a filter applicable to other images, so as to simulate the afterlife of these images. The morphed images are then described by a voice generated by artificial intelligence and supplied with a data feed relating to the history and theory of photography.
