Memorial to an Era: Historic Neighbourhoods of Calcutta and Delhi

This panel brought together versatile academics immersed in the scholarship of a living heritage within cities, who engaged notions with reference to homes and neighbourhoods in Calcutta and Delhi. The speakers helped in navigating ideas and experiences around aspects of structural remains, its inhabitants and conservation dilemmas in the erstwhile colonial capital of Calcutta, together with a connection to Delhi that faces similar challenges.
