Continuing with its seminar programme, the AFA held a seminar in the IIC Annexe, with talks by staff members from the AFA and others who were invited to present papers associated with photographic research. The seminar was attended by a large audience of students, researchers and people working in the arts field in the capital. A significant portion of the audience included contemporary photographers and art gallery curators and archivists keen to learn about the history of photography in India.

The speakers included eminent scholars, researchers and staff members of the AFA. Outside speakers included Ananya Jahanara Kabir, Deepashri Baul, Anish Vanik and Suryanandini Sinha.
