Visit the work of four contemporary artists – Indu Antony, Philippe Calia, Aparna Nori and Arpan Mukherjee who offer new excavations of interiority, fresh tissues of awareness and explorations of deep memory/deep time. Arpan Mukherjee traces relationships between migration, rupture and family roots, engaging his own family within a larger biographical narrative. Indu Antony invites us into the space of erasure through her portraits of anonymous women. Philippe Calia’s memory-induced critique of environmental damage draws on personal archives as well as satellite images for his reconstructions. Aparna Nori scripts the density of psychic terrain via enigmatic topographies of human skin.
